Chris Lancaster, Sony and Chapter 3

Making a connection to Sony and what the first page of chapter 3 is saying, is that companies use false advertising or too close to a lie to get to sell their product. For example; the kellog company stating that ceerios lower cholesterol which is false according to them because it would be a drug. Sony just released a brand new Z series vaio laptop, and there statement is that it's "thinner,faster, and most powerful than ever." what Sony wont tell you just like any manufacturer is the problems about it. which brings me to my next point morality and buisness ethics. companies and buisnesses shouldn't sell products because it's an easy, or good way to make money. they should sell products that ensure customer satisfaction, products thats reliable, and a product that you can use for years.

Company- Sony

Mission statement. "Sony is a leading manufacturer of audio, video, communications, and information technology products for the consumer and professional markets. its music, motion,picture,television, computer entertainment, and online businesses make Sony one of the most comprehensive entertainment companies in the world."

History. From what I know Sony is a large business technology franchise, that sells electronics like, radios, televisions, computers, and the famous playstation 3, to name a few.
